After many years of planning, Emirates opened in the 1,600‑hectare, Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley in October 2009 – Australia’s first luxury conservation resort.

Nestled in the Wolgan Valley, underneath spectacular sandstone ridges, this environmentally conscious resort is in keeping with the rare wilderness of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area in New South Wales – approximately 3 hours drive from Sydney.

Occupying just one per cent of the total land area, the resort features 40 sublimely appointed villas evocative of the Federation period, each with its own lap swimming pool, large fireplace and private veranda with impressive valley views
